The importance of being comfortable in your own skin if you are to have good sex

Intimacy and Relationship Coach, Tracy Ziman Jacobs, explains the  importance of being comfortable in your own skin if you are to have good sex. This is how she broke is down for us:

  • Knowing your own body is like knowing whether you like chocolate cake or not. If you don’t know what pleasure feels like, how can you know how to give pleasure to someone else?
  • To know one’s own body intimately, translates into the ability to give yourself self -pleasure, for the sake of connecting to your inner-most self. The “self” that accepts loving and nurturing touch.
  • When self-pleasure is accompanied by satisfying moans and reinforced by comments such as “I love YOU”, how can one not begin to love oneself? If this behaviour is reinforced 3 times a week, the results are that we begin to see ourselves as sexual beings instead of chocolate pudding.
